This 40 mm Limited Edition of 30 pieces marks the first time a BA111OD creation is reserved for Club 11:10, the brand’s official community built around the philosophy of we-commerce.

CHPTR_Δ: A Manufacture Complication from Neuchâtel

CHPTR_Δ is the first manufacture complication developed by BA111OD. Conceived and developed in Neuchâtel, it reflects the region’s deep-rooted culture of mechanical creativity and independent watchmaking.

Rather than relying on a traditional rotating hour hand, CHPTR_Δ introduces a new approach to time display. The movement is built around a satellite hour wheel rolling around a fixed central hour wheel.

When one wheel rolls around another, the trajectory traced by any point on the satellite wheel forms a cycloid. For CHPTR_Δ, BA111OD selected a deltoid cycloid with a 1:3 ratio, resulting in a striking visual outcome: the tip of the hour hand traces a triangle.

Time is no longer read in circles, but through a constantly evolving geometric form.

Independent Watchmaking, Developed in Collaboration

The original concept of CHPTR_Δ was imagined by Diego Böttger, who envisioned a radically different way of reading time, moving away from circular motion and traditional visual codes.

That concept was then developed, refined, and brought into the BA111OD universe by Liliane Murenzi, BA111OD’s in-house designer. Based in Neuchâtel, she translated the original idea into a coherent, wearable, and mechanically expressive timepiece, balancing strong geometry with clarity and usability.

The movement was then developed in collaboration with independent watchmaker Olivier Mory, known for his experimental and mathematical approach to mechanical design.

Together, BA111OD and Olivier Mory transformed the initial concept into a fully functional manufacture complication, combining theoretical geometry, mechanical precision, and visual impact. The resulting asymmetrical reading of time represents a world premiere and offers a new relationship with the passing hours.

A 40 mm Limited Edition Reserved for the Club

The CHPTR_Δ AGIL Club 11:10 Edition is a 40 mm Limited Edition of 30 pieces. It is a reedition of the fast-selling AGIL Limited Edition originally launched in 2024, now refined and adapted to a more compact format.

While the watch can be discovered by anyone on the BA111OD website, only Club 11:10 members can unlock access to purchase. This controlled-access model ensures transparency while reinforcing the role of community in how certain BA111OD creations are shared.
