This is the story of a family whose name has crossed centuries of Swiss watchmaking. First traced in 1341 in a stained-glass window in Môtiers in the canton of Neuchâtel, the Baillod name enters the watchmaking records in 1775 and has never quite left.
Today, it continues with BA111OD, still anchored in Neuchâtel, still obsessed with mechanical creation, and now rewriting the rules of what Swiss watchmaking can be.
A Pocket Watch From The End of the 19th Century
Among the rare pieces found in the archives lies a pocket watch by Charles Baillod, dating from the end of the 19th century. A physical testimony that the Baillod name didn’t just appear in documents it created real objects, carried, worn and passed on.
A LEGACY OF PASSIOn
BA111OD does not replicate the past.
It builds upon it with a contemporary, disruptive spirit: tourbillons made accessible, collaborations with local artisans, and a community-driven model that challenges the industry status quo.
250 years of Baillod watchmaking is not a conclusion.
It is the beginning of our next chapter.
