The Neuchâtel-based brand Baillod presents a new chapter in its affordable Swiss-made watchmaking. The CHPTR_Δ contains for the first time an original movement.

Initially imagined by the designer Diego Böttger-Zevallos, this caliber was developed and produced with the help of the La Chaux-de-Fonds watchmaker Olivier Mory. Its time display is particularly stunning.

If the minute hand goes around the dial in one hour, the time is given by a small disc that follows a hypocycloidal path. That is to say that it follows the trace of a fixed point on a small circle rolling inside a circle.
