CHPTR_Δ is the first BA111OD manufacture watch complication: a unique timepiece that represents time in a revolutionary way. 

Rather than simply rotating a hand around a central axis, the movement was designed to "roll" a satellite hour wheel around a fixed central hour wheel. When a wheel is rotated around another wheel, the trajectory described by any point on this satellite wheel is a cycloid. There are several types of cycloids: in this BA111OD chapter, the chosen cycloid is a deltoid (with a ratio of 1/3), and as a result, the trajectory described by the tip of the hour hand is... a triangle.

Created with the help of renowned watchmaker Olivier Mory, CHPTR_Δ's asymmetrical reading of time is a world premiere that promises to captivate and inspire anyone who seeks a new and unique way of reading time.

NON-CIRCULAR EXPERIENCE OF TIME

Developed and produced with the help of the highly renowned watchmaker from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Olivier Mory, CHPTR_Δ (pronounced Chapter Delta) brings a duality between the circular time of the minutes and the hypocycloidal time of the hours, enclosed in a triangle, in the foreground of the dial. This asymmetrical reading of time, which slows down and starts again, like a choreography, is part of another temporality, symbolizing the carousel of life.

Une authenticité remarquable

Une pièce magnifique, dotée d'une complication étonnante lui conférant une superbe authenticité.
La lecture de l'heure peut surprendre au premier regard mais rajoute au charme de la montre. Une bonne raison de contempler son garde-temps encore plus souvent et plus longtemps!
Les finitions et les détails sont sublimes, la réserve de marche et la précision sont bonnes également.
Un vrai coup de cœur !

Kreative Mechanik - hat sich das Warten gelohnt

Ba111od hat eine kreative Getriebevariante als Stundenanzeige in Serie gebracht - einmalig. Ein sehr interessantes Feature das ich als Getriebefan echt brillant finde. So ist die Anzeige interessant neu und richtig gut gemacht.
Die Uhr hat für mich genau die richtige Größe, ist gut gearbeitet. Die Farbe blau ist angenehm. Endlich eine interessante Mechanik die mal auch sehen kann. Einziger Kritikpunkt an der Uhr ist aus meiner Sicht das Armband, es ist recht schmal und dünn.
Diese Chapter kann ich wirklich empfehlen. Sie hat einen sehr eigenen Reiz! Ein mechanisches Juwel.

Bien que l'attente fut un peu longue, je suis très content de ma Chptr Delta! C'est un plaisir de lire l'heure de cette manière, et la précision du module est très bonne pour le moment. Mention spéciale au bracelet, je ne savais pas trop à quoi m'attendre, mais il est très agréable et le système de boucle me semble suffisement costaud.
Sans être exubérante, elle ne passe pas inaperçue.
Merci a toute l'équipe pour ce garde temps plein de personnalité.
